Pastor Ed graduated from Bethany College, in WV in 1976. He received his Master of Divinity at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in PA in 1979. He married his wife Barbara in November of 1979 and then in January 1980
he was ordained in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Later that same year, his son Edwin was born. Six and a half years ago, Pastor Ed decided to focus on interim ministry. He also enjoys being a substitute teacher for his local high and junior high schools. Columbia is Pastor Ed's six church that he has served as an interim.
Rev. Ralph Young Pastor Emeritus (minister from 12/71-4/98) Rev. Young graduated from the Berkeley Baptist Divinity School. He came to us from a pastorate in Alliance with his
wife Adelaide and their four children. During his 26 years of service, Rev. Young fulfilled his commitment to the congregation and was an encouraging and caring minister to the needs of the members. He had a special relationship with the youth of the church and taught a number of confirmation classes which helped the growth of the church. Under his leadership, a number of church committees were formed and their activities have been essential to the effective advancement of the church.
